ProgramCritique.com Review:
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is an altogether different presentation of financial matters and provides many essential tips to encourage you to be on the lookout for great business opportunities. It is essentially a motivational book and not any book for making more money. Robert’s book ranks high among most entrepreneurs as his real estate investing tips and suggestions are apt and suitable. Competition in the real estate investments is increasing by the day and you need to have a different and more competitive edge to score over others.

Robert Kiyosaki is an expert on real estate finances. Robert Kiyosaki identifies his biological father as Poor dad and his friend’s father as Rich dad. He asserts that his poor dad instilled values of education and savings in him while his Rich dad instilled utility of investing in assets and rather in business. Biological father had a modest life while Rich dad wore good clothes, drove beautiful cars, and invested good sums in assets thereby creating debt. However, investments kept increasing Rich dad’s income while poor dad remained stagnant in same position on his financial graph.
Nevertheless, Robert Kiyosaki’s book - Rich Dad Poor Dad has many flaws. It is useful for someone with lot of wealth but unable to manage it. It has no information on any means of earning more income. There are various contradictions of Robert’s past with that of characters in book. Many people in the book are not just, what Robert tells they are. There is deep ambiguity in the book. Copywriting problems are also obvious. Robert Kiyosaki states book is on real people but names changed for educational purposes. In few interviews, Robert states that Rich dad never existed and is only a fictional make-up. In some interviews, he states that Rich dad died whereas in some he states Rich dad was his friend’s father. These conflicting statements create a confusing scenario.
Through his book, Robert Kiyosaki explains that major chunk of people keep revolving around vicious circle of paycheck, expenses, and bills. You need to wrench yourself free of this circle using investments with tax benefits like real estates and businesses.
