ProgramCritique.com Review:

There are many people out there seeking a loan. Everyone needs either a personal or a business loan at some point or the other and there are several creditors willing to lend it. Most of these are banks, mortgage brokers, or sometimes even pure con artists. Nothing sounds sweeter than an easy loan, especially if you have bad credit. However, beware of the scam.

Most loans are advertised through classifieds, television, newspapers, and flyers. If an ad appears in a major newspaper doesn’t imply that it is a credible lender. Most frauds advertise through the same means. It is great if you are able to distinguish the frauds but sometimes this may be difficult. One sure way to smell a rat is if the ad or any unsolicited call pitches for an advance fee loan.

Advance fee loan implies that you are promised a loan, regardless of your credit ratings if you pay a fee. This fee can vary from $100 to several hundred dollars. These loan conmen take the advance fee and vanish without a trace. You get into the whole racket thinking you will get an easy loan but all you end with is a few hundred less.

Most of the advance fee loan ads feature 900 or 800 telephone numbers and they use alternate delivery systems like private unknown couriers to escape recognition by the U.S Postal Service.

An advance fee loan should not be confused with legitimate preapproved and prequalified loans. According to Telemarketing Sales Rules, it is against the law to ask anyone to pay for a loan that they have not received yet. In short, payment for a promise is illegitimate. No legitimate lender will ever demand payment for possessing any loan. Loan charges you may have to pay will come only after you have actually taken the loan. There are many gullible people out there who need to recognize a loan scam before they lose money instead of get some.
