J. P. Vaughan was a lawyer in Michigan before she started her full-time career in real estate investing in 1988. She is the publisher and co-founder of Creative Real Estate Online. She has also authored the book “How to Buy Your Dream House for 1/2 Price”.

Creative Real Estate Online is a wonderful source of ideas and information for real estate investors. People can post their comments on the forum and interact with each other. The site has two main groups - Group I and Groups II. While the first group is for the people with good experience in real estate investing, the second group is for the newbies. J. P. Vaughan says that she takes care to update the information on the site. They sweep through the site regularly checking the new postings and they remove postings that violate the rules of the group.
J. P. Vaughan’s site contains some useful comments from knowledgeable people. However, it also contains many things that confuse the visitors looking for authentic information. Many online marketers post comments praising himself, herself, or an associate without disclosing their connection. Visitors to the site can fall prey to the thugs who pose as knowledgeable on different issues. The worse thing is that Vaughan allows these people post their comments as free of speech.
Creative Real Estate Online is a place, where you will find both good and bad people. However, it is always difficult to differentiate the good ones from the bad ones. In one case, J. P. Vaughn filed suit against a cyber thug after spending $20,000 to track him down. In view of the lawless nature of the site, it becomes imperative for the visitors to be cautious.
As a commenter does not require identifying himself or herself, visitors often face problems. However, J. P. Vaughan continues her policy saying everybody knows who everyone is. Critics wonder how it can be true of new users.
