This book is based on his experience that he has gathered in so many years. Christopher S Cain’s book "Maximize Your Resort Property Investment” was published in major journals like Today, Barron's, Business Week, and Money magazine. In 1998, he wrote another book "Road Map to Your Vacation Property Dream", which was a revised and updated edition of his earlier book. His story featured on Feb. 11, 2000 in the cover story "New Wealth Brings Surge in Two-Home Families,” in USA Today. 

Christopher S Cain is a Cleveland native but lives in Orlando, Florida. He has also worked as the Public Relations Executive for Burson-Marsteller and as the Director of Media Relations for the Florida Association of Realtors. Besides this, he has also taught communications as an additional professor at the University of Central Florida.

Before writing his books, Christopher consulted the big names in resorts and developers like Saddlebrook, Capital, Amelia Island and Kiawah Island. In his book, "Road Map to Your Vacation Property Dream”, Christopher S Cain gives guidelines on how to avoid major roadblocks and rake in profits from the vacation deals. The book has also editorials from some of the most prolific writers about vacation property, time-share, keeping records and financing. It also gives a deep knowledge on trading for other vacations and goods and services.

However, despite the book’s success many people have complained that out of the total 197 pages, 56 pages are only about a list of Coldwell Banker offices. One can easily obtain this information from the Internet. It looks more like an infomercial in print.

However, if you are looking forward to a vacation property deal, to begin with the experience of Christopher C Cain is a good choice to make.
