Equinox International functioned discreetly. Company advertised through classified sections in newspapers for recruiting persons. Those who replied to such advertisements viewed sales presentations to recruit new members and distributors at their interviews. Recruits had to buy certain products and attend few seminars costing $300 each.

Although Equinox International stressed on the sale of different products, its main aim was to make more money by recruiting and not by selling. Recruiting involved forced selling of certain products to the recruits and further coercion to attend seminars. People at Equinox International make you subscribe for a special phone line and enter into different programs.
