ProgramCritique.com Review:

Hotels provide paid lodging and other services like restaurant, childcare, swimming pool, etc. for tourists, mainly for a short period. Some hotels additionally offer conference services for corporate houses to hold conventions or meetings. Motels differ slightly from hotels as motels have an exterior entrance to the rooms with a drive-up too. Motel is same as a motor hotel or in earlier times was a single building with many connected rooms, but all rooms had doors facing the parking area. Motels are essentially on highways and are helpful for easy travel across the country.

There are now few quality motels owned by respectable families across highways. Hence, hotels offer a lucrative business with motels mainly on a decline. Extensive traveling and other technological breakthroughs have shortened distances between places. Therefore, people need to go from place to place and need some good place to rest too. Tourists need hotels to stay at tourist places.

Hotels or motels need to provide basic accommodation with a bed, table, cupboard, attached washroom, television, broadband Internet facility, telephone, small kitchen with facilities to prepare tea, coffee, etc. Different hotels offer different facilities and accordingly have separate rating systems.

Before starting a hotel, conduct a through analysis of the area to judge the practicability of its location. The place should be easily approachable and near other strategic locations of the particular city. If you want to start a cheap place for lodging, the ideal location would be in the outskirts of the city. If you want to start a luxurious hotel with all possible amenities, location should ideally be in the heart of the city. According to the location, you can choose an interior designer for designing your hotel.

Additionally, open a web site for your hotel with registration through different travel services. Also, provide online reservation and cancellation facilities, develop tie-ups with car rentals, airlines, railways, etc., offer attractive discounts and other special offers to entice tourists to visit and stay at your hotels. Plan all your details before starting with your hotel to achieve a high degree of success in your hotel business.
